Outer Banks Guide Service is owned and operated by Kerry Harris of
Atlantic, NC. Kerry is a native "Down-Easter", born in Sea Level,
NC. Kerry has over 30 years hunting experience with 15 years of
Guiding. His goal is to help you to have an unforgettable duck
hunting experience.Where we Hunt
Hunting areas range from Cedar Island to Portsmouth Island on the Outer
Banks. Typical Hunts include Pole Blinds, Shore, Bush Blinds and
layout boats to provide a variety of Hunting experience.
What to expect
After a predawn meeting and a boat ride your guide will place you in
a comfortable blind, where he will make sure the decoys are properly
placed and hide the boat some distance away. He may return to hunt
with you or leave you for a while depending on your level of experience.
On a normal day, you can see and shoot a variety of ducks including
Pintails, Red Heads, Blue Bills, Widgeion, Black Ducks, Buffle Head, Sea
Ducks and you have the possibility of Snow Geese, Brant and Swans. |
